Krishna Chandra Dey (K. C. Dey) was a successful Bengali singer who achieved some success in Hindi songs also. He was Manna
Dey's paternal uncle and he encouraged Manna Dey to become a singer. He became blind while he was still a child. I don't
know much about him other than he was a good singer and I have heard some of his songs. Unfortunately there is not much information
available on the internet either. I hope that you will listen to his songs and want to hear even more. If you have other songs

In those days it was not uncommon for the actor to sing it on screen and some one else to record the gramaphone version. This
